Take your boat out on Lake Hamilton, if you don't have a boat rent one from the Sandbar Marina - it's just around the corner - by both land and water Fish Water ski Wake Board Ride a water toy Relax on the deck Read a book Hunt for Crystals Eat a meal on the deck Visit Garvan Woodland Gardens Take the kids to Magic Springs amusement park and Crystal Falls water park Visit some of the art galleries • Take your life into your hands at the Super-Lift Off-Road Vehicle Park Take a lunch or dinner cruise on the Belle of Hot Springs Riverboat Eat at Cajun Boilers Take in The Bath House Show Ride a Duck Go to the Maxwell Blade magic show Walk historic downtown Hot Springs Take the fantastic free tour at the Fordyce Bath House Go to the Arkansas Alligator Farm and Petting Zoo What about the Josephine Tussaud Wax Museum The Mid-America Science Museum is fantastic The Hot Springs Winery is different every time I go - You HAVE to do a tasting Kids love the National Park Aquarium Tiny Town is so unique it's a must The Dryden Pottery factory is close by We hear Oaklawn is exciting We love Pirates Cove miniature golf The views are great from the Hot Springs Mountain Tower Eat at Angel's Italian restaurant Mc Clard's BBQ is a Hot Springs institution and is not to be missed The roads around Hot Springs are fantastic for motorcycle riding There are so many things to do here, it's just to numerous to list, check out the official Hot Springs Website

 

McClard's BBQ started when a down-and-out traveler could not come up the the $10 he owed for his two-month stay, he asked the couple to accept instead a recipe for "the world's greatest bar-b-que sauce", And WOW was that traveler ever right!!! - at least according to - The Food Network, The Travel Channel, Williard Scott, Southern Living, Gourmet Magazine, The Arkansas Gazette, The band Aerosmith, former President Bill Clinton and more, Each week they serve 7,000 pounds of mouth-watering hickory-smoked beef, pork, and ribs, Alongside go 250 gallons of spicy bar-b-que beans, 250 gallons of cole slaw, 3,000 hand rolled hot tamales and 3,000 pounds of fresh-cut potatoes french-fried to perfection, - This place is a Hot Springs Tradition!

With its sweeping vistas, natural wonders and local color, National Scenic 7 Byway awaits you, to surprise and delight at every turn. Widely know as one of the 10 most beautiful drives in the U.S., Scenic 7 is recognized nationally for its charm and natural splendor. Extending from Camden, through Arkadelphia, historic Hot Springs, and Russellville, Scenic 7 winds gracefully through the beautiful Ouachita and Ozark Mountains to Harrison, joining Highway 62 to Eureka Springs and Highway 65 to Branson, MO.
